In fact, the epitome of what NOT to do if you're involved in a service industry. Eight people waiting to be served and one person attending.
12 months on and ANZ Moonee Ponds branch still fails to offer anything approaching efficiency or customer service.

I took time off work and went there to open an account. This is the most basic task for a bank to do, yet they said they couldn't give me service because I hadn't booked it in advance. Is it really such a complicated task that it requires booking? Instead of welcoming you and respect customers time, they just ask you to leave and book an appointment come back in while they could do that straight away and they were not busy at all. Don't spend money on your marketing strategies, just service customers while they need it.

Not sure why ANZ continue to insist on only one teller and a whole bunch of nonsense tellers with no person available. There are so many other banks still accommodating for their customers by providing numerous tellers with an actual person!!
